Rock Sound is a British rock magazine. It aims at sub-genres such as heavy metal, emo and punk music. This is useful as these are genres which I will cover with my magazine. The magazine's tagline is "For those who like their music loud, extreme and non-conformist" which is very appealing to the ideology held by the target audience. The readers of this magazine are 59% female and 41% male. The magazine aims at 15-24 year old's which is the same as my target audience and the same as Kerrang! magazine's target audience. This is because this genre is mostly popular with this age group. This is very close to the demographic for my magazine, and this layout will be considered for drafting my magazine.
